Congressman Jack Enrile complicit in 1975 shootings according to Wikileaks revelation

jack_enrileJack Enrile is the legendary “spoiled brat” who was “once suspected of having his bodyguards shoot down a guy who stared at him in a nightclub.” (Domini M. Torrevillas, “Demythologizing Jack EnrilePhilippine Star) and is allegedly linked to a “number of ‘incidents’, ranging from the supposed suicide of his sister’s boyfriend, to the shooting of perceived enemies and critics” (Rina Jimenez-David “The mythology around Jack EnrileInquirer.net).

According to a “confidential” 1975 cable supposedly originating from United States diplomatic outposts in Manila revealed by whistleblower group Wikileaks, US diplomats found merit in these allegations. The following is text lifted from the Wikileaks site

1. SECRETARY OF DEFENSE ENRILE LEFT THE PHILIPPINES SEPTEMBER 30. ALTHOUGH HE DESCRIBED PLANNED ABSENCE TO AMBASSADOR AS ONLY FOR A FEW DAYS WHILE GOVERNMENT INVESTI- GATED CHARGES AGAINST HIS SON, RUMORS HAVE INCREASED THAT VISIT MAY BE LENGTHIER.

2. STRENGTH OF RUMORS MAY BE RELATED TO FACT THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED FAIRLY FIRM INDICATIONS THAT ENRILE’S SON MAY BE CHARGED. NBI SOURCES HAVE COMPLETED THEIR INVESTIGATION AND HAVE INDICATED TO US THAT BOTH THE ENRILE BOY AND HIS BODYGUARD ARE LIABLE TO PROSECUTION. WE ARE NOT INFORMED AS TO SPECIFIC CHARGES NBI WOULD PREFER ALTHOUGH SOME NBI SOURCES HAVE TOLD US UNEQUIVOCALLY, AND CONTRARY TO SECRETARY ENRILE’S ASSURANCES TO AMBASSADOR (REFTEL), THAT ENRILE’S SON DID THE SHOOTING.

WE ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT CHIEF PROSECUTING ATTORNEY NOCON BELIEVES THAT NBI INVESTIGATION RESULTS PROVIDE ADEQUATE BASIS FOR LEGAL ACTION, CHARGES UNSPECIFIED.

3. FIRMING UP OF REPORTS AGAINST ENRILE SON COINCIDES WITH CONFIDENTIAL CONFIDENTIAL PAGE 02 MANILA 13806 011020Z SPECULATION ABOUT FUTURE OF ENRILE HIMSELF. WHEN ENRILE LEFT, PRESIDENT MARCOS TOOK OVER AS ACTING SECRETARY OF DEFENSE. PRESS POINTED OUT THAT PRESIDENT HAD DONE THIS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS BEFORE AND SUGGESTED TEMPORARY NATURE OF SUCH ACTION. VALENCIA IN PARTICULAR HAS REITERATED THAT ENRILE WOULD BE BACK SHORTLY. ON OTHER HAND, THERE HAVE BEEN A NUMBER OF RUMORS SUGGESTING THAT ENRILE’S CAREER AS DEFENSE SECRETARY MAY BE OVER. MELCHOR MAY BE PRIME CONTRIBUTOR TO THESE STORIES. LATEST MELCHOR CONTRIBUTION WAS TO SUGGEST TO AMERICAN BUSINESSMAN TWO DAYS AGO THAT IT LOOKED AS THOUGH ENRILE WOULD HAVE TO GO. 4.COMMENT: IT IS PROBABLY PREMATURE TO TALK OF EFFORT TO OUST ENRILE FROM GOVERNMENT BUT TALES NOTED ABOVE ARE DAMAGING AND MIGHT PRESAGE LATER EFFORT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CASE AGAINST SON AND MOOD OF PURGES TO STAMPEDE ENRILE OUT OF GOVERNMENT. HIS LONG RUN PROSPECTS PROGABLY INTIMATELY TIED TO HOW AND IF MARCOS PROCEEDS WITH MILITARY PURGE AND TO STEPS HE MUST TAKE THEREAFTER TO RESTORE LOYAL AND MOVING GOVERNMENT. SULLIVAN

  1. Libertas says:

One of the top absentee congressmen jack enrile has always been an uncouth thug and done nothing for the country, only the shady enrile businesses.
The best thing he can now do for the country is slither back under the rock from whence he came.
The enrile name is dirt as more exposes of father and son are revealed despite attempts to write fairy stories.

  2. Glenn says:

He will be elected, and there is nothing anyone will be able to do about it.
It must be nice to be able to do as one wishes, and then get away with it. Imagine that, huh?

“I see dead people.”. Must be nice.

  3. Hyden Toro says:

Jackie Enrile is a murderer. His father is a murderer. Ping Lacson is a murderer. the Aquinos massacred people in their Hacienda Luisita. What is new in the Philippines?

  4. eduardo says:

TIME PERIOD : 1975 PRESIDENT : MARCOS. What a very corrupt president indeed. happy that EDSA 1 took place.

    • WinterSoldier says:

And you’re very very happy that the Philippines went down the drain. That is what happened after Marcos left. Enjoying the former Cory and the current Noynoy regime?

Then the joke is on YOU then. HA HA.😀

      • eduardo says:

The Philippines is going up through the ranks little by little. Improvement is not a whole day work.

      • Johnny Saint says:

Especially if it is run by the Aquinos.

      • joeld says:

Yup, everything is painfully slow because of how you pwecious pwesident handles things. Cancelling projects by GMA, slow to react during the Luneta Massacre, 2 days late after a storm hit, and sloppy decision making on the Sabah issue, just to name a few.

      • WinterSoldier says:

Little by little? Tell that to China, Singapore, Korea and Japan who continue to progress as the years go on. The Philippines? Not so much. You can’t even face the harsh reality that there is little to no progress for the last 25+ years…

Why you can’t admit that you’re just trolling?🙂

      • WinterSoldier says:

This is the typical Pinoy mindset, I tell ya. . Always about the MONEY, never about the progress. They’ll take their 100,000 pesos sitting on a shittiy shanty if it meant movie stars and politiko family members can take political seats on a 2-6 year basis.

      • eduardo says:

        @Johnny Saint

Just look at the GDP and Fitch ratings and the CPI rank. During the Arroyo time they are all negative.

      • eduardo says:

        @joeld
Cancelling projects by GMA = they are corruption infected and must be cancelled. Arroyo might profit from it. Besides, some projects are USELESS.

        slow to react
        during the Luneta
Massacre, = it is still credited to Arroyo, PNoy not yet 100 days in office.

        2 days
late after a storm hit, = the president has alot thing to do and not a photoop statesman

        and sloppy
        decision making
        on the Sabah
issue= Kiram is hard headed, wont fix situation peacefully.

        , just to
name a few.= No I dare you, name it ALL!

      • eduardo says:

        @WinterSoldier

because GMA and Marcos brought alot of destruction to the country that why it takes longer time.

      • Johnny Saint says:

In recent history, one of the greatest causes of damage to the Philippine economy was the 12 hour blackouts that were caused by Cory Aquino’s FAILURE with regards to inaction in addressing power infrastructure requirements in the 1980s. She canceled upgrades which should have been implemented, for no other reason than they were conceived under the Marcos era. This was compounded by the Aquinos’ FAILURE to maintain peace and order which culminated with the Enrile/Honasan coup. It sent investors and their FDI in a beeline out the door.

      • Johnny Saint says:

        To address your lie:

“Just look at the GDP and Fitch ratings and the CPI rank. During the Arroyo time they are all negative.”

By the end of CORAZON AQUINO’s term GDP growth rate according to the IMF was -0.578%! The result of six years of an abysmal dearth of economic vision compounded by natural disasters and policies that polarized Filipino society and the political establishment. Not to mention an inability to control the military that resulted in six coup attempts.

Fidel Ramos’ presidency initiated deregulation. This saw a steady rise in the GDP reaching a growth rate of 5.846% in 1996. Then the Asian Financial Crisis hit. Coupled with the election of Erap Estrada — more famous for his serial womanizing and drunken binges than administrative ability — GDP growth rate dropped to -0.577% in 1998.

Under Gloria Arroyo’s presidency GDP growth AGAIN INCREASED STEADILY, reaching a high of 7.117% in 2007. When the sub-prime mortgage crisis hit in 2008 GDP growth again dropped but recovered over the next two years, reaching 7.632% in 2010.

In the year following BS Aquino’s election, thanks to policies which undid Gloria Arroyo’s efforts, GDP GROWTH DROPPED TO 3.718% IN 2011. Instead of continuing the efforts of previous administrations, it was more important for BS Aquino to destroy his predecessors so that he could claim credit for something that was started long before he came to power. And as the IMF has shown, the negative GDP growth was under CORY AQUINO and Erap Estrada.

With regards to the Fitch Ratings upgrade — it is curious that all BS Aquino sycophants gloss over the fact that FITCH CREDITS THE EFFORTS IN FISCAL MANAGEMENT BEGUN BY THE ARROYO ADMINISTRATION as being responsible for the upgrade.

A fractional improvement in the CPI is hardly something to be ecstatic about. The bottom line is that the Philippines is STILL perceived as one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

      • StopDrinkingVirility says:

“because GMA and Marcos brought alot of destruction to the country that why it takes longer time.”

You got it all wrong, eduardo LACIERDA. Since you asked for it, I will name it ALL!😛

It’s so pathetic that you focus your EMO on PGMA and Marcos who apparently shattered the country. Well if Marcos wasn’t around, who would build the nationally funded structures then still heavily used by the country now? After him Cory nor others didn’t even give a lick about national infrastructure or foreign investments. You overrate his atrocities yet many claimed before finding out the truth about him that his time was actually a time where society was disciplined. Two sides of the same coin. People DEMONIZE Marcos but take away what he did for the country. People uplift the humanly nice Cory and the Aquinos as DEMIGODS of the country when just as much corruption happened in her time as much as Marcos did, to go with inefficient decision making as a leader to boot. And people like you go EMO over PGMA, claiming she stole millions of YOUR money (when (when it’s the governments money to begin with. Taxation money ain’t yours son! You aren’t down with that? Complain about taxation without representation!) when she also was an efficient leader that kept the Philippines economy afloat, invested on its economic side and did what she could to keep the government from going astray as she wasn’t going to get any legitimacy as the transitional leader after Estrada. So in this system, she had to what she can to gain allies, even if it meant throwing money at them.

“Cancelling projects by GMA = they are corruption infected and must be cancelled. Arroyo might profit from it. Besides, some projects are USELESS.”

Look at what happened during the Sendong incident. Viewing the cancelled GMA projects as ‘corruption-infected’ is a farce because it speaks more of laziness. Not to mention the incumbent president is a vindictive vermin.

        “slow to react
        during the Luneta
Massacre, = it is still credited to Arroyo, PNoy not yet 100 days in office.”

So does that mean GMA is still in office after June 30? After PNoy’s inauguration? If Arroyo was still there, then she will handle the hostage crisis BETTER than PNoy. So it was not her fault anyway, if we base it on your logic. So PNoy would be sitting in Malacanang in either September or October! Catch my drift?

Nah, you don’t get it. What I meant is that you’re just playing the blame game. Leadership has no excuses whatsoever. At least, during the GMA era, she handled the situations with utmost skill; with PNoy, however, he handled it like any normal folk would do – roll the dice and play the blame game. And you are a total moron when you’ll say. “He just started as president!” That is the funniest! If anything is transparent, is the mindset of those common Pinoys that end up being reflected on the President and from him, his actions that are reflected to the international community.

Because if the world comes down on the President which is loved dearly by the brainless zombies, it would be a reflection of themselves and they can’t have that!

        “and sloppy
        decision making
        on the Sabah
issue= Kiram is hard headed, wont fix situation peacefully.”

PNoy is also part of it. He doesn’t even know who or what Muslims are. When he said ‘You should refrain from this HOPELESS CAUSE.’ If I were in Kiram’s shoes, I would take that as an insult and a form of disrespect! So you agree that this nation is actually HOPELESS because of the current administration and its president! Correct me if I’m wrong.😀

So there you have it. You dare me to NAME IT ALL and this is I give to you. I expect of more strawman arguments from you because that’s how you do things: SPREADING LIES AND FALSE CLAIMS all the time. Of course, you would not believe since you’re an Aquino cultist.😀

Keep on trolling and I’ll keep on proving your stupidity.😛

    • joeld says:

Yeah right, after Marcos in 1986, all went downhill from there. EDSA 1 was a hoax, why can’t you get it through your thick yellow skull!

      • eduardo says:

It was not a failure because we acquired freedom after that.

      • joeld says:

        Freedom from what, exactly?

      • WinterSoldier says:

There is no real freedom. We are still in a dictatorship, but hidden in the shadows. The 1987 constitution is a proof.

        You jelly?😛

      • Johnny Saint says:

Don’t be absurd. You are talking about political freedom? The concept is utterly empty without the corresponding human freedom and, most importantly, economic freedom.

Hong Kong is a prime example. Before the Chinese takeover, it had no tariffs and no import or export quotas (except those forced on it by its trading partners in the international community). There are minimal regulations on business, few price controls, no wage controls. Like the Philippines, the island possessed only a capable labor force. Unlike the Philippines, Hong Kong’s economy has achieved marvels; the standard of living has risen four- to six-fold since World War II. It is a phenomenal example of what a free market can do if left unrestricted even under such adverse conditions.

Hong Kong also enjoys a great deal of human freedom. Before the turnover, you’d never have seen any evidence of suppression of freedom of speech, freedom of the press, or any other human freedom that democratic, free peoples regard as important.

In contrast, the Philippines’ centrally controlled, over-regulated and restrictive economy, which was largely initiated by the Aquino 1987 constitution, earned Filipinos the appellation “SICK MAN OF ASIA.” We have a high incidence of journalists being murdered. We have NO FREEDOM OF INFORMATION law.

Ah, yes, eduardo can take his “freedom” and choke on it.

      • eduardo says:

        @Johnny Saint

So what do you want? Change the constitution and start all over again? It is just a waste of time and resources. The president is confident with our constitution already

      • Johnny Saint says:

I’ll put it this way CRETIN (since your microscopic faculties failed to understand my response): What I want is to not have to again endure the 12 hour blackouts that were imposed on the Philippines by the Aquinos for failure to address the power infrastructure situation. What I want is to pass legislation that allows a free market economy, not a centrally planned disaster under an incompetent boob like BS Aquino.

Capitalism and a free market are a necessary condition for human freedom AND political freedom. 27 years of state control and all you have produced is an endless succession of boom and bust cycles. With the most spectacular FAILURES under an Aquino presidency. The real waste of time is when the economy starts to pick up, only to be stunted back into a recession because an Aquino didn’t like the previous president.

Again, contrast that with pre-turnover Hong Kong where citizens DID NOT have (political) representation but had the personal freedom to do whatever they want within the constraints of the law.

      • eduardo says:

“What I want is to pass
        legislation that
        allows a free
        market economy,”

Do you mean that we let all foreigners get into the country and let our locals lose? Let the country be infested by foreign nationals and eventually in a couple of years, control the whole Philippines and remove our Pinoy pride? You are clearly out of your mind!

      • Johnny Saint says:

“Let the country be infested by foreign nationals and eventually in a couple of years, control the whole Philippines and remove our Pinoy pride? You are clearly out of your mind!”

And eduardo is clearly a RACIST. A hateful racist who DOES NOT BELIEVE in Filipino ability to compete with foreign talent and looks down on local companies’ capability to adapt to a changing market. The exact opposite of having pride in one’s country.

      • Johnny Derp says:

        @eduardo

You seem to have been dropped on your head too many times when you were a baby. Letting foreigners into our country to give better jobs is a better alternative than letting yellow oligiarchs completely monopolize and enrich themselves while poor people continue to suffer. Aquino’s ouster is the first step in having a TRUE democracy instead of Yellow Democrazy.

        Troll harder, twat

      • StopDrinkingVirility says:

“Do you mean that we let all foreigners get into the country and let our locals lose? Let the country be infested by foreign nationals and eventually in a couple of years, control the whole Philippines and remove our Pinoy pride? You are clearly out of your mind!”

Just look at Singapore and Malaysia you should realize that we are totally right. The reason behind Britain’s rise as an economic power is because they liberalize their own economy; you gotta give credit to Margaret Thatcher for that. She said ‘There can be no liberty unless there is ECONOMIC LIBERTY.’

Allow 100% foreign equity ownership in public utilities so that the consumers and manufacturers will be given an opportunity to choose power provider who could give a better and yet cheaper service instead of relying with monopolist MERALCO for example. Those who are saying that 100% FDI means losing our national sovereignty are hypocrites.

“So what do you want? Change the constitution and start all over again? It is just a waste of time and resources. The president is confident with our constitution already.”

Oh, that means you’re very happy about the abomination that is the 1987 Constitution? Policies that helped COry and her personal cronies do their thing LEGITIMATELY and set the country back for years while she and her group get kickbacks.

You’re outta your mind, ultranationalist cunt.😛

      • Aegis-Judex says:

And you know what they say about ultranationalism: It breeds some unfortunate scum. Scum like the Kims, inter alia.

    • Johnny Saint says:

“What a very corrupt president indeed.”

Cory Aquino, BS Aquino and “kamag-anak incorporated.” Very proficient at replacing old corrupt officials with more corrupt, often exceedingly inept, Aquino family toadies. Very masterful at dissembling. Very accomplished at destroying the aspirations and economic progress of millions of people for the simple reason that they are jealous of ideas that originated in a previous administration.

      • Libertas says:

It actually goes even beyond that.
There is a jealously and a fear of those with ability, ideas etc, which could not only expose their shortcomings, but through results/success etc dilute their power base, so the gene poll and selection is limited to mediocrity and KKK irrespective of how incompetent and corrupt.

Jesse robredo was not popular – until after his death – with his peers. He made them look bad and lazy.

The country bans doctors, lawyers, lecturers from working here, not because there would be a sudden rush of highly qualified and highly paid professionals wanting to work here, but to prevent intellectual/professional growth and restrict ideas.
More communist and chinese in practice.

Criminals and morons in business and politics. What a farce.
I wonder who they will blame in 3 years time for no real progress.

ochoa et all will have built their mansions and put there stolen money abroad and couldnt care less anyway.
1 cabinet member is getting 10 million peso a month from a makati company. it will come out at the right time. white houses and trying to be whiter than white.

      • Johnny Saint says:

Personally, Libertas, I don’t think the Aquinos and their hangers on (the die-hard YELLOW loyalists, and I’ve known a couple of them for years) have the wherewithal to think things through to the point where they will formulate tactics that preclude intellectual development.

For me, the yellow mob devotion really comes down to two things. The first is the money as you’ve already mentioned; they’re in it to manoeuvre the situation to enable them to extract a personal reward, either cash up front or power/influence that leads to cash later on. The second is the fanatical, uncompromising belief (as exhibited by eduardo) that the Aquinos really are the best people for the job. And this I’ve seen in a highly respected medical professional. This second kind is more dangerous. You can’t reason with them. They will come up with some convoluted reasoning that the Aquinos can do no wrong.

Whatever else happens after — the “brain drain,” the valid development projects that stop dead in their tracks, the failure to act in an emergency, etc. — those are the end products of putting “Aquino” first and nothing else matters.

      • eduardo says:

So you want the professional workers of our country to be unemployed and be replaced by foreign ones? You are promoting unemployment .

      • StopDrinkingVirility says:

@eduardo: One of the very reasons why there are many OFWs is because of lack of jobs?

Hell, you’re promoting UNEMPLOYMENT itself. LAWL.

      • Johnny Saint says:

WHAT THE DEUCE?! “Foreign” workers? Unemployment?! What new LIE is this?

What we desire is to have qualified, competent leaders and efficient bureaucrats administering our government. Not delusional, sycophantic, boot-licking brown-nosers who are appointed because of political patronage or the fact that they know how to squeeze off a few rounds.

The political environment and society that competent leadership creates will attract like-minded individuals without having to bribe or force them to come work in the Philippines.

      • eduardo says:

        “What we desire is
        to have qualified,
        competent leaders”

PNoy knows how to remove, handle and appoint the people in our government. One example is Sir Jess Robredo which unfortunately died.

      • Libertas says:

        idiot
        puno the thief
        biazon the incompetent
        llamas the communist and thief
        ochoa the drunk and thief
sereno a joke amongst her colleagues

        etc. etc

they are near your level of intellect so thats how low.

      • Johnny Saint says:

Yes. Jesse Robredo died. Under highly suspicious circumstances. Which the Aquino administration has taken great pains to conceal.

Compared to other palace officials, Robredo is the only one who may be considered a truly effective manager. It belies the idea that BS Aquino is capable of selecting competent people.

As a side note, BS Aquino’s shameless exploitation of Jesse Robredo’s death to enhance his image is one of the most disgusting displays of “necro-politics” (I believe was the coined term) I have ever seen.

      • Libertas says:

robredo was good, and hence a threat.
        aquino didn’t even like him
until he died then exploited him and his widow, even wanting her to run for the senate.
if the cojuangco-aquinos can assassinate their own then money is thicker even than blood

      • Libertas says:

        haha.
next you will be saying malacanan appoint professional competent trolls.

and there would not be a rush for jobs from abroad where professiinals earn 4 – 5 million pesos a year.

just the ongoing stampede of filipinos wanting to go and work abroad.

and you obviously miss the iriny and stupidity of your statement.

oh and now you putting forward aquino as a racist. not a surprise.

  5. Libertas says:

    litle is the byword
p-noy and his yellow morons exhibit little minds and little penises.
no wonder no ideas, no women, angry at the world and need to 3xaggerate everything.
at least he gives amusement to his intellectual and social superiors. calamaity juan in person.

p-noy reminds me of a gay in a brothel – awkward, can’t perform, and no use to anyone.

    • eduardo says:

It is only the blind to the president’s achievements that sees no future for the country.

      • Johnny Derp says:

And yet you are continuing to be an IGNORANT twat on the achievements of the previous administration which YOU are clearly paid to spread black propaganda against.
        Your tears are delicious.
        TROLL HARDER

  6. Libertas says:

In meetings p-noy thinks at the pace of a tricycle, and he is left behind in the exhaust trail of western diplomats/businessman.
Even when awake his brain remains asleep.
    So embarrassing
Thats why he hates debates and meetings. It exposes him for what he is. An empty vessel with no intellectual capabilities and an inability to think on his feet – only when lying down or asleep.

Foreign direct investment down 45% last month to a record low

in fact the only things going up are poverty, beggars on the street, and the number of jokes about aquino

    • eduardo says:

We cannot blame the president for that. It is still the previous admin’s policy that is bringing it down.

      • Libertas says:

        idiot
it is the lack of confidence in aquino by international investors which is why it keeps going down.
its now 3 years and he needs to employ a 50 peso army to troll and lie.
        you prove the point.
        no achievement
another corrupt and traitorous aquino. sh!t under my feet.

      • Johnny Saint says:

More lies. Both Fitch Ratings and the World Bank state that the policies on fiscal management and economic development INITIATED UNDER THE ARROYO ADMINISTRATION are responsible for the current favorable perception of the Philippines in the international community. Lacking any credible achievement himself, what BS Aquino is responsible for is STABBING previous administrations in the back and taking responsibility for their work. Even going so far as to fabricate unsubstantiated criminal charges against Arroyo so as to have a “big fish” to persecute and boost his “tough stand” against “corruption.”

  7. Johnny Derp says:

Fact is that aquino is so inept that he can’t even react accordingly to the numerous crisis that happened recently like the SABAH crisis for example.. Aquino’s lackeys are clearly grasping at straws since they cant even present us with FACTS.
    You mad eduardo?

    TROLL HARDER

  8. Johnny Derp says:

FYI eduardo, continuing to repeat LIES won’t convince anyone here.
You better get a REAL job soon eduardo since your president’s days in malacanang are NUMBERED.

Thanks Johnny Saint, Libertas, StopDrinkingVirility, Johnny Derp, WinterSoldier for for replying to the “arguments” thrown by the brainless character, eduardo.

This is a good exercise, what eduardo is doing, by defending his diyos-diyosan he ends up exposing how dumb, lazy and incompetent his president is. I hope more people will be enlightened by reading the comments here.

The joke is on you eduardo, hahaha.

    • Libertas says:

      Thats ok.
As you say they are not ‘arguments’ eduardo puts forward but his propaganda one-liners serve as a springboard for further more enlightened comments/facts, and anyone reading in the future/doing google searches will be in no doubts about the reality of rational people and the desperation of the malacanan paid 50 peso traitors.
He is too dumb to realise it and with the threads being reposted/circulated he helps people see the stupidity, non achievement, and vacuousness of p-noys administration.
Keep up the good work ‘eduardo’ ( this current one is the dumbest)

      • Johnny Saint says:

I’m taken aback. eduardo actually contribute something worthwhile to society? Perish the thought.😉
